Meet Jesseca

Our story begins with our founder, Jesseca Sutherland, a natural born creative. She began to express her love for the arts as early as age of four, and continued to explore painting, crafting, singing, dancing, acting, and of course baking throughout the rest of her life.

As a child, she would spend hours in the kitchen with her grandmother, learning the art of baking and developed a love for creating beautiful and delicious desserts. If she wasn't watching Disney, you can bet that she was binge watching baking competition shows such as Cake Boss, Cupcake Wars and more. Her passion for sweet edible art only grew stronger over time.

Jesseca started baking cupcakes, cookies and cake pops for her family, friends and church community. As word of mouth spread, her orders grew, and she realized she had something special on her hands and in her heart.

With a desire to share her delicious desserts with the world and persistent encouragement from her older sisters, Jesseca's Sweet Street was born in 2016, making her a business owner at only 16 years old.

Now offering custom cakes and treats for special occasions along with the launch of her new gourmet cookie line, Jesseca continues to expand her repertoire. She envisions a future where her creations touch lives globally and aspires to start a mentoring program for young creatives.

In all that she does, her mission has always been to spread the sweet love of Jesus Christ and inspire others to pursue his unique path for each of our lives.
